Each event becomes a job on a queue. Steps are idempotent, so a retry never creates a duplicate record, and failures back off before retrying. Jobs that keep failing land in a dead-letter queue with the full payload instead of disappearing.
The AI step only decides the route and extracts fields; the actions themselves are ordinary typed API calls. Every run keeps a log, so when a sync breaks you can see which step failed and retry it with one click.
